Our Food.

Our chefs Adele and Shane oversee a food menu inspired by the best seasonal produce that our region has to offer, combined with amazing products from small, artisanal producers from near and far.

Our menu is constantly changing, reflecting the seasons and availability of produce. We enjoy using products that have a strong sense of provenance, and favour suppliers local to the immediate area where we can.

Focused on authentic, paired-back, simple Italian fare, our dishes range from snacks and small plates (antipasti) to enjoy with a glass of wine, through to homemade pasta, larger protein-based dishes, and desserts to enjoy over a long lunch or dinner.

Our Wine.

When we say local, we mean local. The bulk of the wines on our list are made within 50kms of Eighteen Sixty, and showcase local winemakers big and small from the Strathbogie Ranges, Nagambie Lakes and Goulburn Valley regions. We also stock wines we enjoy from other parts of Victoria, and Italy.

Our by-the-glass list changes constantly to reflect what is coming out of the kitchen, and to highlight wines that we’re particularly fond of.
